We are a maternity-focused dog rescue based in Olympia, Washington, dedicated to helping pregnant stray dogs in urgent need. Yakima-area shelters are overwhelmed with strays and stretched to capacity, leaving many pregnant dogs without support. Tragically, most puppies born to strays moms face short, uncertain lives, and those that survive often contribute to the growing stray population.
Our mission is to break this cycle by ensuring both mother dogs and their puppies receive the care they deserve. We prioritize spaying and neutering to prevent future litters and work to place these dogs in loving, responsible homes. We recognize that stray dog overpopulation has detrimental effects on the community, environment, and public health. The uncontrolled reproduction of stray dogs increases their population that leads to a higher chance of predation, disruption of ecosystems, road traffic accidents, and the spread of internal parasites and zoonotic diseases, including rabies, to humans and other animals.
