Noah, the founder’s West Highland Terrier, played a remarkable role at the rescue. He assisted in controlling and potty training dogs. Sadly, he passed away at the age of 14 in November 2021. Regardless of their aggression levels or sizes, all the dogs respected and somewhat feared this exceptional companion. Noah’s presence ensured the rescue operated seamlessly, and his absence is deeply felt.
In honor of Noah, we’ve created a special fund dedicated to helping people cover veterinary expenses. Our affiliated veterinarian provides affordable spaying services through this program. While we’ve always assisted families and their canine companions, the recent Crafter Helping Animals auction provided the funding and a fitting name for this initiative. Together, we’re making a difference in our community.
